ISLAMABAD: Mashaal Malik has deplored India for not allowing her to meet with her husband Yasin Malik for three years saying that their daughter was yearning to see her father. Reacting to the meeting of convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadhav with his mother and wife, she said India was not allowing a great Hurriyat leader [Yasin Malik] to meet with his family. Mashaal Malik went to say that Kashmiris were being treated as terrorists in Indian prisons despite Pakistan’s humanitarian gesture which allowed “terrorist” Kulbhushan Yadhav to meet with his mother and wife. She also raised the question whether or not the Kashmiris had no right to fight the war of freedom from India. She questioned Indian democracy and championship for peace saying the state had moved the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to save a terrorists [Yadhav], who have confessed to terror activities in Pakistan. Mashaal added that India was making all out efforts to facilitate the terrorist Yadhav and asked the entire world in general and India in particular as to which kind of constitution and democracy [India] is this. Mashaal Malik is the wife of Kashmiri Hurriyat Leader Yasin Malik, who is the chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front [JKLF] and has been arrested by Indian troops from Kashmir.
